How to take Screen Record on Windows?
Method 1: Xbox Game Bar (Works on Windows 10 & 11).
1. Open the Game Bar: Press Win + G on your keyboard.
2. Start Recording: Click the Record button (the circle icon) on the capture bar. Shortcut: Press Win + Alt + R to start/stop recording immediately.
3. Add Microphone (Optional): Click the microphone icon on the bar if you want to record your voice.
4. Stop Recording: Click the Stop button (the square icon) on the floating bar, or press Win + Alt + R again.
5. Find your video: Open File Explorer > Videos > Captures.
Note: This tool is designed for apps and games. It may not work on your desktop or File Explorer.
Method 2: Snipping Tool (Windows 11 Only).
Best for: Recording a selected area of your screen (e.g., a specific window or a small region).
1. Open the Tool: Press Win + Shift + S.
2. Switch to Video Mode: On the small toolbar that appears at the top, click the camera icon (Record).
3. Select Area & Start: Click + New, then drag your mouse to choose the area you want to record. Click Start.
4. Stop Recording: Click the Stop button in the small preview window.
5. Find your video: The recording will automatically open in the Snipping Tool for playback and saving.
